Online test for promotion from Sub-staff to Clerk will be held on 24.7.16; Last date for receipt of applications 10.6.16, 17 HRS

Online test for promotion of workmen from Subordinate cadre to Clerical cadre will be held on 24.07.2016.
Last date for receipt of online applications: 10.06.2016 upto 17.00 HRS.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Employees in Subordinate Cadre, including Part Time employees in Subordinate Cadre fulfilling the eligibility criteria as given below shall be eligible to be considered for promotion to Clerical Cadre:-
The applicants should fulfill the criteria of educational qualifications and experience as under, as on the last date of receipt of application i.e. 10.06.2016 as per provisions of Settlement dated 18.08.2011 circulated vide PAD Circular No.53 dated 19.8.2011 read with modifications circulated vide PAD Circular No.198 dated 22.2.2014, PAD Circular No.211 dated 30.4.2014 and PAD Circular No.274 dated 25.6.2015.

Demand of extending option of Pension to those who applied but could not deposit required amount within time, has been conceded
Our long pending demand of extending option of Pension to those who applied but could not deposit the required amount within time, has been conceded by the Bank. On 16.05.2016, Bank approved 146 such cases of Pension/Family Pension. Required amount to be deposited within 60 days.

Bank has decided to consider temporary transfer/deputation of female staff when they are in their family way for max. 3 months
The Bank has decided to consider temporary transfer/deputation of female staff, when they are in their family way for maximum upto 03 months before the expected date of delivery for medical acclimatization and periodical check-up before delivery, to their any place of choice.
They shall automatically be relieved for the parent Circle/Office after availing maternity leave if any, without awaiting any instruction from the Circle/Office to which they have been temporarily transferred. This is permissible upto two children only.
The Competent Authority to consider the requests of employees/Officers upto Scale III will be the General Manager-HRMD.

Bank has decided to consider transfer request of female staff who were married before joining the service to place of choice
In terms of PAD Circular No.238 dated 21.10.2014, policy for consideration of transfer request of female staff to place of choice at the time of her marriage before completion of 3 years subject to availability of vacancy was introduced. This relaxation was available only once in entire service period. The Competent Authority to consider the requests of employees/officers upto Scale III for inter-Circle transfers within the same Zonal jurisdiction was the Zonal Manager while for inter Zone transfers it was the General Manager-HRMD.
Now, it has been decided by the Bank to extend this benefit to all those female employees who were married before joining the service of the Bank as one time measure, subject to availability of vacancy in the requested Circle provided she has not been transferred on promotion/under rotational transfer after joining the Bank. The Competent Authority to consider the requests of employees/Officers upto Scale III will be the General Manager-HRMD.
All such employees are, advised to submit their one time transfer request in the HRMS immediately under “Employee Self Service (ESS)” and duly approved by the Circle Office/HO Division.

D.A. payable to employees for the Quarter May to July 2016 shall be 420 slabs i.e. a decrease of 6 slabs below the current level
In terms of clause 7 of the 10th Bipartite Settlement dated 25.05.2015 and clause 3 of the Joint Note dated 25.05.2015, the rate of Dearness Allowance payable to workmen and officer employees for the quarter May to July 2016 shall be 42.00% of ‘Pay’ against 42.60% of ‘Pay’ applicable for the previous quarter i.e 6 slabs below the current level.

March 2016:         6117.34
Average = 6140.17 + 6094.52 + 6117.34 = 18352.03 ÷ 3 = 6117.34
No. of Points = 6117.34 – 4440 (Merged with Pay) = 1677.34
Fall in Points = 1704 - 1677 = 27
Fall in Slabs = 27 ÷ 4 = 6 Slabs
Existing DA Slabs: 426
New DA Slabs for May to July 2016 = 426 - 6 = 420
Rate of Dearness Allowance for the Qtr. May to July 2016 =420 × 0.10 = 42.00% of Pay

D.A. Rate (for working staff): 42% of Pay (Basic Pay + Spl. Pay + PQP) and on Special Allowance
An Employee who is also a care giver of disabled child may be exempted from routine exercise of transfers/rotational transfers
According to Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, Office Memorandum No. 42011/3/2014-Estt.(Res) dated 5.1.2016; a Government servant who is also a care giver of disabled child falling under any of the following categories may be exempted from routine exercise of transfers/rotational transfers subject to the administrative constraints:-
i)        Blindness or low vision
ii)       Hearing impairment
iii)      Locomotor disability of cerebral palsy
iv)      Leprosy cured
v)       Mental retardation
vi)      Mental illness vii) Multiple disability
vii)     Autism
viii)    Thalassemia
ix)      Haemophilia
