SBI signs MoU with Institution of Engineers (India)
The State Bank of India (SBI) entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Institution of Engineers (India), at its Head Office in Bengaluru recently.
According to a release, Chief General Manager Rajni Mishra said that the MoU would streamline banking facilities of IEI and its one million strong memberships. It will facilitate seamless management of fee collection for their examinations, seminars and national events. She said that the MoU would enable IEI to utilise SBI’s robust technology platform.
IEI president L.V. Muralikrishna Reddy said the SBI product offerings would serve IEI’s centres, chapters, affiliates, members and students and wished that in the days to come, SBI with its technology and digital initiative will also become a technical partner and promote research in engineering.
