Bank Employees Protest

Ongole: The members of All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA) and other employees of all banks here staged a protest in front of the main branch of Syndicate Bank, Lead Bank of Prakasam district on Wednesday They demanded the Central government and Reserve Bank of India address the cash problems immediately and announce compensation to the kin of  those who died in the serpentine queues and employees died on duty with unable to face work pressure.
V Partha Saradhi, president of the Prakasam district Bank Employees Association said, “The Reserve Bank should supply enough cash to meet the demand from the customers.
As only 30 per cent of the ATMs are working now, the public are blaming the banks and its employees.

The government should make arrangements to see 100 per cent of the ATMs work immediately.

As the common people rely on the public sector banks, Reserve Bank should give priority to them than the private banks.”
