If we check last year's cut-off, for English Language section it was 7.00 for general category candidates while 4.50 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the results of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee (PO/MT) preliminary recruitment exams 2017 today evening at ibps.in. An official told the indianexpress.com that the results are scheduled to be out this week. IBPS had conducted the exam October 7, 8, 14 and 15. In the notification, the exam authority announced October as result declaration month, however, it has been postponed.
Going by the previous trend, the result is expected to release this week. This year, IBPS has announced 3562 vacancies for PO this year. This year, the total vacancies have decreased as last year a total of 8,822 posts were released. Read | IBPS PO 2017 results updates, click here
As per IBPS PO exam experts, the overall paper was difficult in comparison to previous year’s paper. The difficulty level of the English section was high, the quantitative aptitude section was moderate and the reasoning section was also difficult and time-consuming.
If we check last year’s cut-off, for English Language section it was 7.00 for general category candidates while 4.50 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
For reasoning ability section, cut-off was 5.50 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD and 8.50 for general candidates. Similarly, in the Quantitative Aptitude section, the cut-off was 8.25 for general category while 5.25 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

General – 47.50
OBC – 46.50
SC – 40.00
ST – 31.25
OC – 32.75
VI – 31.50
HI – 18.00
